The Elusive Miss Lou is the most openly playful brand in our collection. The frames lean into colour and character where most luxury eyewear leans away from it — silhouettes that aren't trying to be subtle, named with the same warmth: The Vavavoom, The Tiger, The Glam. For the wearer who wants their glasses to be a piece of personal expression rather than a quiet accessory, this is the brand on the dispensary that says yes the loudest.

The brand was founded in late 2018 by Louise Sceats and her son Teiger — a mother-son studio working out of Umina Beach on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Louise had retired to the seaside, decided it was "really boring," and started designing frames out of the same artistic instinct that drives her painting. Teiger handles operations and the brand voice; together they bring around 15 years of optical fashion experience and a deliberately small, family-run posture. Their tagline — Australia's most colourful and creative eyewear — is the long version of how they put it themselves: "We don't do boring."
